ネボ山の展望スポットからは、死海、エルサレム、ジェリコ、ベツレヘムなど、まさに聖書の舞台となったその場所を見渡すことができます。方向を表す図があるので、目で追ってみましょう。日本人から見ると、緑豊かな…というわけにはいきませんが、穏やかな、のんびりと羊が歩いていそうな風景で、砂漠を延々と歩いてきたモーセたちには、天国のように映ったに違いありません。

We returned Madaba. Then I happened to see a girl whom I met in a bus when I cameback home.
She guided us for a little time. She is student and she can speak Arabic, English and German. Such an intelligent girl!!! I hope she will be successful her life.
