I arrived Urmuchi at10:30am. As I couldn’t find host, I had to stay hostel. But there was only one hostel which foreigner can stay and it’s expensive. Obviously we travelers come here as no choice...

Urmuchi isin Xinjang area. So people are Uighur or Han. So two letters are used.

ウィグル文字はアラビアっぽい。

Uighur letter seems to be Arabic. And speaking seems to be Turkish such as central Asian. For example, Thank you in uighur is lafmat(or rafmat?).

I may understand more uighur than chinese lol

This hostel is 60YRC. Oh! Expensive!! There was a guy who from Cameroun in same flat. I might know him coz I saw an info which another Japanese traveler wrote about him.

He said “I have been to Japan. Tokyo, Hiroshima, Nagasaki”

Well, I hung out with American guy who can speak Chinese very well.

He comes China many times. Xinjiang is after 8years again for him. He told me that everything is more organized and increased Hun people. It means to travel here is more uncomfortable.

Well, I certainly saw many cameras. 

I guess these camera are put each 10m. So crazy.

At first, we went to park.

After here, we headed out to international market which was Uighur region.

Look like modern district. But absolutely China destroyed and reconstruction as it seems not to be Uighur stuffs and people.

 mosque became survivor shop. Of course mostly workers are Hun.

Btw, China has Chinese mosque 🕌

While walking, we swung by a mosque. 8years ago when American guy was here, this mosque was occupied by musulim people. Even some people couldn’t enter inside, they prayed outside.

Now, mostly part of this one bacame lingerie shop market however second floor seems to be existas pray room. Actually I couldn’t take photos appearance coz there was police.

I think China want that there is no culture and history of Uyghur in here. 

I was was so sad 😞 

In the night, We and another Chinese guy ate dinner together.

He can’t speak English but he used good translator haha.

we were satisfied with dinner. This Chinese guy took us small hill. Although entrance had security check, Only American guy was checked 🤣

 Developing City, Urmuchi?? No they stump and walk on history and make new history. Why they can’t forgive.
